This year Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is jam-packed with a programme to celebrate 10 years since the iconic London 2012 Games, and the Easter holidays are set to be no exception. With cracking deals and fun, free activities for you and the family, what are you waiting for? Get yourselves to the Park whilst the sun is shining.

KIDS GO FREE AT THE ARCELORMITTAL ORBIT  

This Easter, Kids go free on all ArcelorMittal Orbit Skyline Views tickets between 1 - 24 April! 

A Skyline Views ticket grants entry to the observation platform at the top of the UK's tallest sculpture. With incredible panoramic views of London's skyline and touch screen information panels to help you identify the capital's landmarks. The tower includes a set of concave mirrors designed by Anish Kapoor, the sculptor who designed the structure.

ACTION PACKED SPORTS    

A dramatic new indoor triathlon concept - The Arena Games Triathlon - is coming to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, bringing some of the biggest names in triathlon. This trailblazing idea merges real-life swimming with virtual reality running and cycling.  

There's also an event at the Velodrome - Good Friday Racing on 15 April, featuring sprint and endurance races, free sessions for kids, and a display of unusual bikes. 

Over at the awe-inspiring Copper Box Arena, the London Lions are playing numerous games (including a match against Bristol Flyers on 1 April and Cheshire Phoenix on 22 April). 

If football is your thing, West Ham are playing at the London Stadium throughout the month, with a big game vs Everton on 3 April. The under 23s are playing Tottenham on 4 April in the Premier League 2 and would appreciate as much local support as possible. And, if you want to know more about where it all happens, you can book a behind the scenes tour of the London Stadium. 

WALKS AND RUNS  

Run past iconic London venues in the 'Chase the Sun' race – just choose whether it's going to be a 5K or 10K.  

If you want to take it down a notch, download one of our free trails, with themes including wildlife, art, and the London 2012 Games, for a fun way of exploring the Park while learning something new. 

Despite being in an iconic part of east London, the Park is a botanical oasis, set in 560 acres of parkland and beautiful gardens, bursting with some of the rarest flowers from across the world.  

Finally, there will be a walk for The Children of War in the North Park Zone to raise money to provide food and water to the children of Syria, Yemen, and the Rohingya. 

STREET FOOD AND MORE AT HACKNEY BRIDGE   

Hackney Bridge is a new, canal-side public destination close to Hackney Wick, home to workspaces, studios, a street food market (Hackney Bridge Kitchens), bars, independent retail, and community gardens. 

This Easter, a weekly quiz – called The Big Fat Quiz - at Hackney Bridge Kitchens (plus, there's a happy hour from Tuesday to Friday).  

There's also street food Tuesday to Sunday (Wednesday is half-price pizza night), and the women's Six Nations will be shown on big screens. All are welcome, so come on down!

GARDENS AND PLAYGROUNDS   

This blossom season, take advantage of the London Blossom Garden – a living memorial to the lives lost due to the Coronavirus pandemic. It also pays tribute to London's brave key workers who risked their lives to help others and was created in partnership with The Mayor of London and The National Trust. 

There are also fantastic playgrounds both the north and south of the Park, with plenty of space for children to run around and let off steam, and our splash fountains – 195 individually controlled jets of water – might offer some cooling relief! 

FOOD AND DRINK  

With so much on offer, you'll be sure to work up an appetite on your Easter visit. Luckily, the Park is home to several cafés and restaurants, offering a range of mouth-watering eats. Whether it's freshly roasted artisan coffee and a light lunch at The Last Drop Café or Timber Lodge Café, or lunch on the go at one of our kiosks for everything from American-style burgers to Greek gyros.
