12 March - LCF Sampled: Talking Dresses and Talking To Dresses

Join London College of Fashion, UAL to explore creative writing practices as tools for engaging with objects. This event will explore creative writing practices as tools for engaging with objects. PhD student and Costume BA Course leader Louise Chapman will present her practice-based research, including her development of object narratives. Amy de la Haye, Joint Director of the Centre for Fashion Curation, will respond by sharing her creative writing practice which involves talking to objects.

Join London College of Fashion, UAL for "Quantum Leap/s: here and there After," where Paul Bevan will present new works developed from his research on the role of superposition in photography. This event builds on his ongoing PhD research, exploring photography as both an event and a form of observation. Bevan will place his work within a broader photographic tradition, connecting themes of performance, fashion, and sustainability. The presentation will showcase new work shown for the first time, continuing his exploration of photography as both a lived and performed experience.
