LAST PIECE OF THE SLIDE PUZZLE PUT INTO PLACE

Story 10/06/2016

The thirtieth, and final, piece of the world’s tallest and long slide has been lifted into place at the Slide at the ArcelorMittal Orbit. London’s most hair-raising new experience nears completion before it opens its doors on the 24 June.

Measuring 178m, this is Europe’s tallest and longest tunnel slide, and lets you see the sights of London like never before as you zoom through the air at speeds of up to 15mph! The Slide is made up of 30 separate sections that twist and turn 12 times.

German-Belgian artist Carsten Höller designed the Slide after being approached by Anish Kapoor, the architect of the ArcelorMittal Orbit. The Slide is a unique collaboration to tempt all thrill-seeking Londoners!

Have you booked your place yet for the Slide? There’s only two weeks to go, so why not try for yourself book your place on London's hottest new attraction.
