Since opening back in June 2016, over 225,000 people have screamed their way down the Slide at the ArcelorMittal Orbit – almost completing the distance equivalent to a lap around the world.

Once the 225,114th Slider completes the adrenaline-ridden Slide, they’ll have completed the distance equivalent to a lap around the world! To celebrate, ticket prices have been frozen and thousands more tickets have been released so you can book in advance until October 2018 – the perfect chance to book ahead for your Easter and summer holidays, when The Slide has previously sold out!

Hold on tight, the thrilling 40 second descent weaves through the famous loops and curves of the iconic structure, including a tight corkscrew section named the ‘bettfeder’ – after the German word for ‘bedspring’ – ending with a 50m straight run back down to earth! You’ll circle the ArcelorMittal Orbit 12 times as you pass through light and dark sections with London’s dramatic skyscape whizzing by!

But it’s not just about The Slide-  there are incredible views to enjoy too. Experience the rush of zooming high into the sky in just 34 seconds as you ascend the UK’s tallest sculpture in the lift. Enjoy the heights and thrills of the UK’s most exciting viewing platform as you explore breath-taking views of London’s most iconic landmarks, including St Pauls’ Cathedral, the O2 Arena and Wembley. Explore London’s famous skyline through stunning floor to ceiling windows before feeling the wind in your hair on the outside observation walkway suspended 262ft above the ground.
