British-born Idris Elba has made a name for himself starring in films such as ‘American Gangster’, ‘Prometheus’ and ‘Thor’ plus TV series such as cult hit ‘The Wire’ and UK BBC smash ‘Luther’. Under the moniker Driis however he has also forged a successful DJ career with residencies at Love & Liquor in West London, Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes and performances at Ushuaia warming up for deadmau5, David Guetta and Pete Tong. After his successful appearance at IMS this year we’re pleased to announce that Driis will be joining the HARD Arena line-up alongside Crookers, Destructo, Fake Blood, Jack Beats, Madeon, Porter Robinson and Rusko.

As well as bringing the Electric Daisy Carnival brand to UK shores we’re pleased to announce the UK debut of the HARD Arena. Founded in 2007 by Gary Richards (aka Destructo), HARD Events hosts parties across the US including HARD New Year’s Eve, HARD Haunted Mansion, Hard 13, and HARD Summer which have become synonymous with larger-than-life performances, stunning productions, and the brightest rising stars. Expect no less from their arena at Electric Daisy Carnival London.

Representing the best of British at the festival, Speakerbox, the brainchild of Radio 1Xtra’sMistajam brings together the cream of the crop in up-front bass music blended with hip hop, dancehall, grime, garage, dubstep, r&b, drum’n’bass, house and everything in-between. The Speakerbox Arena will not disappoint with sets from the Caspa, Flux Pavillion, Goldie (w/MC GQ), Jaguar Skills, Ken Mac, Mistajam, Nero, SHY FX (w/ Stamina MC) and Sub Focus.

Focusing on electronic music in all its forms the Neon Garden will feature performances fromBurns, Chris Lake, Chuckie, Deniz Koyu & Danny Avila, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Dirty South, Feed Me, Mat Zo and Tom Staar.

An epicenter for the world’s leading dance music stars, the Electric Daisy Carnival LondonMain Stage – Kinetic Field features performances from Alesso, AVICII, Hardwell, NERVO,Steve Angello, and Tiësto.

As Insomniac’s first venture onto UK shores this event is set to be the show of 2013.
