Bus route 308 to provide new links to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

Story 24/01/2014

Transport for London has announced improvements to route 308 providing new direct links to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

From 25 January, the service – which runs between Wanstead and Clapton – will be rerouted via Stratford City bus station and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park providing easy access to East Village, the new neighbourhood on the site of the former London 2012 Athletes Village, and leisure facilities, including the new Lee Valley VeloPark which is due to open this spring.

Buses will run every 12 minutes Monday to Friday daytimes, and every 20 minutes during the evening and Sunday daytimes.

The announcement follows the recent extension of route 388 and continues the work of TfL and the London Legacy Development Corporation in making the Park accessible and well-connected in the build up to more of the Park opening on 5 April.
