The ArcelorMittal Orbit is right next to the London Stadium, and throughout the Championships, will be open from 10am to 9pm! You can learn about the capital on the interactive screens, get a bird's-eye view over the iconic venues from the London 2012 Games, hear the roar from the London 2017 crowd on the outdoor stairs and enjoy fantastic art inside the UK's tallest sculpture.

Once you've soaked in the striking city views, thrill seekers can also take the hair-raising ride back down to the ground in the world's longest and highest tunnel slide. The 178 metre long slide will take you around the ArcelorMittal Orbit 12 times, with loops, curves and an exhilarating corkscrew to ensure you end your trip on a high. You can also combine your trip to the ArcelorMittal Orbit with a tour of the Park – and a chance to find out about its past, present and future - with a registered Blue Badge Guide! Morning tours run on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11.15am – 1.30pm, and afternoon tours run daily from 3.30pm – 5.45pm and can be booked here.

If you’d rather explore the Park at your own pace, there are plenty of walking routes, boat tours running on the hour between 12noon and 5pm and even swan pedalos available to hire! A wide range of food and drink is also available in the venues on the Park – as well as The Podium café near to the Stadium, all of the venues have cafes open to the public, and there are kiosks throughout the south of the Park. Just a short walk away, there are also restaurants and bars at Here East and in East Village.

And if the weather’s in your favour, Beach East – the biggest urban beach in the UK – will be open on the Park from midday until 9pm Monday to Friday, and 10am to 9pm Saturday and Sunday. Entry is £2 for those aged three and over, and there are also rides, attractions and even a beach bar!

Finally, be sure to take home a memento of your visit. This is your opportunity to own a piece of history – a section of the Stadium running track used during the London 2012 Games.
