Fancy doing something a bit different this February half term? Visit the UK’s tallest sculpture and marvel at miniature representations of some of London's most iconic landmarks, including the Houses of Parliament, the 10 Downing Street door and the Crown Jewels – all made from our all-time favourite - interlocking plastic LEGO bricks. Following the success of the last two immersive exhibitions in 2015 and 2016, the ArcelorMittal Orbit team are thrilled to welcome you back a third time around, with even more to see and do!
Set 80m above east London, the view from the ArcelorMittal Orbit’s highest viewing gallery will also inspire a ‘live build’ during the exhibition. Test your creative flair by building a section of the on-site mosaic which will be centred around some of the London skyline’s most famous sights – as well as some of the Park’s own iconic venues. Learn some tips and tricks from the prolific LEGO brick artist himself, Warren Elsmore, who will be based at the exhibition. Elsmore has been in love with the little plastic bricks since the tender age of four, so no-doubt there will be lots of fascinating nuggets to take away with you!
And to top it all off, there is a free play area where children and adults alike (of course), can enjoy building together with large amounts of miniature bricks to hand.
All the while, you can still enjoy all of the usual delights of the attraction; the Skyline Views which allow you to see up to 20-miles of London also, if you are an adrenaline junkie or generally up for some more excitement you can Ride The Slide- the world’s longest and tallest tunnel Slide which twists and turns 12 times around the sculpture.
A fun and action-packed day for everybody - all included within your standard Skyline View or Ride The Slide tickets!
