Alfresco dining in east London’s oasis

With so much going on, the Park has plenty of quiet spots to escape the crowds. Enjoy the beautiful gardens bursting with colourful flowers, or even better, explore the Park from a new angle- from the water on a swan pedalo.

Many of the Park’s restaurants are open for outside seating, including the restaurants at Canalside offering stunning views of the canal. The Last Drop, located by the base of the ArcelorMittal Orbit, serves coffee, cakes and pastries, light lunches and snacks, and the kiosks along the Tessa Jowell Boulevard offer an exciting range of food and drinks, from vegan and Greek cuisine, to American style diner meals and bubble waffle ice cream.

Barge East, a 120-year old barge converted into an award-winning restaurant, offers delicious cuisine inspired by seasonality, with produce from their own gardens. Or sit canal-side in their beautiful gardens and enjoy a cocktail or two.

Situated near Hackney Wick station, Hackney Bridge is a melting pot of restaurants, shops, bars and street food stalls. The Food Hall is home to a wide selection of delicious street food sellers. Try Filigrillz who sizzle up Filipino barbecues or Neapolitan pizza specialists Made in Puglia.
