These include the ArcelorMittal Orbit, which was highly commended in the same category.  The Park itself was also shortlisted for this award, and we are particularly delighted that our events team was shortlisted in the Best Venue Team category.

The ArcelorMittal Orbit also won Best Unusual or Unique Venue at the London Venue Awards this year.

Although the Park has only been open to the public since July 2013, these awards show that its many venues, spaces and event opportunities are already being widely recognised.  More than 250 events have already taken place on the Park in that time, ranging from outdoor music festivals and major participatory sports events such as Sport Relief through to corporate hires, conferences and exhibitions.
