Opening of Riverside East

Riverside East: East London’s freshest sustainable dining and social hotspot new to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. From tasty lunches to weekend brunches, this place has it all. Major League Baseball World Tour: London Series 2024 | 08 & 09 June | London Stadium

Major League Baseball London is back and there’s still a chance for you to grab yourself a ticket for this year’s iconic face-off. Coming back to the capital for the third time, this year’s Major Leage Baseball London Series will see the New York Mets vs the Philadelphia Phillies in what’s expected to be one of the fiercest contests in the whole season. The two teams will be playing at London Stadium this June in front of tens of thousands of fans. This weekend will see world class sport combined with traditional ballpark food, live music, in-game entertainment and pyrotechnics, creating a truly memorable festival of baseball!

Great Get Together | 15 June | Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park | FREE

In celebration of its ten-year anniversary, the annual Great Get Together returns to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Saturday 15 June. Bring your friends and family and be inspired by music, dance, arts, sports and food for all to enjoy. You’ll be entertained by a wide range of fun-filled activities which showcase and celebrate the best of east London talent. There’ll be main stage acts for you to enjoy with music, dance, and everything in between. Then take part in a variety of creative activities and sports, from face-painting to sports day style events. If all that leaves you feeling hungry, we have lots of delicious food retailers on hand for you to pick something up from.

Plus look out for exciting activity from all five East Bank partners with dance performances from Sadler’s Wells, BBC Introducing music acts on the main stage and creative workshops from UCL, V&A and London College of Fashion, UAL.

Foo Fighters | 20 & 22 June | London Stadium

Foo Fighters are heading to the UK this summer with their highly anticipated Everything Or Nothing At All UK tour. It's the band's first UK tour since 2018, and they're playing at London Stadium for two nights on 20 & 22 June 2024 for a double header of performances. Off the back of their new critically-acclaimed album But Here We Are, Foo Fighters are ready to bring down the house.

Burna Boy | 29 June | London Stadium

Following his 2023 sellout show and the release of UK #1 album 'I Told Them...' Burna Boy is back at London Stadium on Saturday 29 June to wow crowds with the pure electric energy of his Afro-fusion music!  Burna Boy made history in his recent performance at London Stadium as the first African artist to headline a UK stadium. It is only right that the Nigerian superstar is returning to deliver what is sure to be another unforgettable show. Expect a euphoric carnival atmosphere as Burna Boy and his band, The Outsiders take you on a celebratory musical journey in one of the UK’s biggest and spectacular venues.

Monster Jam | 13 July | London Stadium

The most unexpected, unscripted and unforgettable motorsports experience for families and fans is back by popular demand. Monster Jam roars back into London for the third year running on Saturday 13 July, for an adrenaline-charged day at London Stadium, where world champion athletes and their 12,000 pound monster trucks tear up the dirt in wide-open competitions of speed and skill. London Athletics Meet | 20 July | London Stadium

World-class athletics is back at London Stadium on 20 July 2024 for the London Athletics Meet as part of the Wanda Diamond League series.  2023's addition of the London Athletics Meet attracted a sellout crowd over 50,000 spectators for what was the best attended one-day athletics event in the world of the year. 2024 is set to be even bigger as it will be the final athletics competition before Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This gives it a crucial place in athletes' diaries for perfecting their preparations for the competition and amps up the pressure to perform on the big stage.

UK Black Pride 2024  | 11 August | Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park  | FREE

UK Black Pride is returning to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park once again for another spectacular event this summer. UK Black Pride is the world's largest pride celebration for LGBTQI+ people of African, Asian, Caribbean, Latin American and Middle Eastern-descent and is a safe space to celebrate diverse sexualities, gender identities, gender expressions and cultures. Join the party for a day filled with performances, talks, community stalls and workshops.

East Bank Summer Programme  | July - September  | Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

This summer, East Bank, the UK’s newest cultural quarter at the heart of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, invites local residents, Londoners and visitors to discover a programme of events celebrating creativity and innovation. Taking place across Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the summer programme brings together East Bank’s cultural institutions, world leading universities and residents of east London. Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund 
Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund is an ambitious five-year programme that started in 2019 and aims to invest £10 million into local communities of Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Waltham Forest. This flagship project will provide new jobs, learning, training and educational programmes through the means of arts, culture, innovation, public realm and creative placemaking. The programme aims to transform and catalyse the lives and careers of people in East London by putting funding, resources and support straight into local people’s hands.
