iCITY deal secures future of last Olympic venue

All eight permanent venues from the London 2012 Games now have their future secure following the signing of a deal by the Mayor of London and the Legacy Corporation with iCITY.

The agreement to manage 1 million square feet of commercial space in the former Press and Broadcast Centres
puts London further ahead than any other host city in history in delivering a lasting physical and social legacy from the Games. More than 4,500 jobs will be created with 2,000 more in the local area by 2019, delivering employment for those living close to the Park.

Confirmed tenants include BT Sport, Loughborough University, Infinity SDC data centre services, and Hackney Community College.
