LLDC is holding its next Your Neighbourhood Talk at London Stadium in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on 17 March between 6pm and 8.30pm for an evening of information, questions and discussion. Local residents and businesses can find out about the latest changes on the Park, new plans for the area, how they might affect people and ways to get involved in the local community.

Running throughout the evening, the community marketplace will be an opportunity to talk to representatives from a variety of organisations about their work on the Park and in the surrounding area and any plans they have for 2020 and beyond including:
Housing: the new communities being built on the Park; comment on the future phases for East Wick and Sweetwater.
East Bank: the latest updates on construction; opportunities from the East Bank partners.
Year of Sport: the exciting programme of events and activities coming up this year and how people can be involved.
Education and training: opportunities for young people including EAST Summer School; local construction training programmes.
East London Energy: find out more about district heating on the Park.

During the evening, people will have the opportunity to enjoy a tour around the iconic London Stadium, reliving some of the best moments in sporting history. The tour will also be an opportunity to find out more about the process of running such a large multi-use venue. Tours will be running at 6.15pm and 8pm. They’re free but will prove popular so people are advised to book a place by registering on the Eventbrite link.
