The indoor tennis sessions on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park are part of Hackney Council’s free New Age Games winter programme of sporting activities which is designed to give older residents the chance to socialise, exercise and stay healthy.

Jack Pringle, Lee Valley Regional Park Authority Sports Development Officer said: “These indoor tennis sessions will provide participants with a fantastic opportunity to enjoy playing tennis for free on state of the art facilities.

“Sessions are delivered by qualified coaches every Thursday for nine weeks initially with free tea and coffee available to participants at the end of each session.
