NATIONAL PARALYMPIC DAY

26 July 2015
Venue: The Park

Watch Paralympic sporting heroes compete and enjoy a range of free activities and performances at the Mayor of London's Liberty Festival!

See world class Paralympic champions return to the iconic venues of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games to compete for victory!

A day of fantastic sporting competition is on offer with international para-swimming competitions in the London Aquatics Centre alongside the final day of the Sainsbury’s Anniversary Games, which will incorporate the IPC Athletics Grand Prix Final and see the world’s best para-athletes return to the former Olympic Stadium for the first time in two years!

Held with just over a year to go to the 2016 Paralympic Games, snap up tickets to cheer on your Paralympic GB heroes, including Ellie Simmonds, David Weir, Jonnie Peacock, Ollie Hynd and Hannah Cockroft, and back them on their road to Rio! There will also be a chance to meet some of the athletes!

This not-to-be-missed event is a highlight of the summer calendar!

You will also have the chance to try out disability sport yourself and enjoy The Mayor of London’s Liberty Festival, which showcases the nation’s finest talent in Deaf and disability arts.

Organised by the Mayor of London, the Liberty Festival is free and unticketed, with an exciting programme of live music and DJs, outdoor dance and aerial theatre, sound and visual art installations and promenade pieces.

Enjoy a great outdoor arts festival plus the chance to join in a variety of "come and try" sports activities - all for free.
