Get active with daily sports activities on the Park!

The following activities occasionally change location or times, depending on timetabling conflicts with other Park events. Please check this page the week of your event to make sure the location or time hasn't change. 

Prices

Activities with no price next to them are free.

Mondays

Our Circuit – Circuit training is an intensive form of fitness training where a group of exercises are completed one after the other with 30 – 60 secs recovery! Each exercise is performed for a specified number of repetitions/time. Meet at Victory Park in East Village at 6:30am.

BoxFit— Fitness session for all. Meet at East Village, 7am—8am.

Hatha Flow Yoga— A range of exercises from energetic, full-body workouts to relaxing, more traditional poses. Better for: Gaining peace of mind, improving overall strength and wellbeing. Meet at Copper Box Arena, 10:00am – 11:00am.

Abs, Bums and Thighs
Turn up and tone up! Meet at Timber Lodge Cafe 12noon – 1pm 

Bootcamp— Sessions for all abilities and fitness levels. Meet at Timber Lodge Café, 1pm-2pm.

Football and Fitness Development Sessions— These sessions are aimed at children from ages 6-13 years of age and their parents. All sessions are designed to improve each individual’s technique and knowledge of the game. All sessions are delivered in conjunction with the WHU Academy Football Philosophy. Meet at Hopkins Field, 5pm-6:30pm.

Hula Hoop Fitness
Learn to spin the hoop on different parts of your body and be shown a series of moves with the hoop. The emphasis will be on fitness and having fun and no experience is necessary. Meet at Timber Lodge Cafe 6pm – 7pm

RunFit Intermediates Group— Running group for anyone aged 18 and over. All abilities and levels welcome. To book a free space, email Darryl at dgheerawo@westhamunited.co.uk. Meet at Podium Bar and Kitchen, 6:45pm—7:45pm.

Women’s only Running Group 
A free running group for females aged 18 and over. 
Meet at the entrance to London Aquatics Centre, 7pm

Tuesdays

Cycling for All

This is a session designed to get people cycling whatever your level of confidence, experience or ability. Range of bikes, hand-cycles, adult tricycles, recumbents, tandems, car bikes and loads more provided as well as helmets. Meet at the entrance to Lee Valley VeloPark 11am-1pm

Capoeira Fitness— Combines dance, martial arts, music, drama, acrobatics, socialising and much more. Open for all abilities and levels. Meet at London Aquatics Centre 6:30pm—7:30pm.

Core Stability—This class uses innovative equipment such as medicine balls, exercise balls and stability discs; all this is coupled with a routine of low-impact exercises that can help improve your posture and strength. Meet at the Copper Box Arena, 7:30pm—8pm. (Fee: Non-members: £12.00, Members: £6.00)

Dance Aerobics—Dance yourselves fit in a fun, dynamic and high intensity workout of dance aerobics. Meet at the Copper Box Arena, 6:30pm—7:30pm. (Fee: Non-members: £12.00, Members: £6.00)

RunFit Beginner Group- Running grpup for anyone aged 18 and over, with participants of allabilities and levels welcomed. To book a free space, email Darryl at dgheerawo@westhamunited.co.uk. Meet at Chestnut Plaza, Westfield Stratford, 6:45pm-7:45pm.

Yoga
Yoga for all abilities at the Park! Meet at the entrance to ArcelorMittal Orbit, 7pm – 8pm.

Sweatshop Beginner Running Group

Beginner Running group around the Park for anyone aged 14 and over. All abilities and levels welcome. To book a free space, email Darryl at dgheerawo@westhamunited.co.uk. Meet at Chestnut Plaza, Westfield Stratford, 6:30pm-7:30pm.

Bootcamp— Sessions for all abilities and fitness levels. Meet at London Aquatics Centre, 7pm—8pm.

Wednesdays 

RunFit Group A running group for beginners and intermediate runners aged 16 and over. Leaving from Victory Park in East Village at 6.30am. To book, please contact Darryl Gheerawo on dgheerawo@westhamunited.co.uk.  


Elite Fitness 
Exercise drills to get you fighting fit on the Sun Lawn! Meet at the entrance to Podium Bar & Kitchen, 12noon – 1pm

This Girl Can Swim— This session is reserved for women and girls only (Fee: Non Members: £12.00 Members:£6.00). Meet at London Aquatics Centre, Midday – 1pm.  

Box fit

A fun way to get fit through a high intensity full body work-out. The class incorporates solid boxing pad work with body conditioning. Meet at Podium Bar & Kitchen, 1pm—2pm.

 

Table Tennis & Table Cricket Club— Open to everyone aged over 16. Learn the skills of table tennis and cricket and challenge our coaches! For more information please check: https://www.facebook.com/chobhamcommunityclub/. Meet at Chobham Academy, 5pm—6pm.

Women’s and Girls West Ham Football Sessions— Sessions are aimed at 14-25 year old females and delivered by female coaches. The weekly programme follows a full syllabus which covers basic fundamental movements, ABCs and football sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to be referred to local grass roots clubs as well as West Ham Ladies Juniors and Women teams. Meet at Hopkins Field, 5pm—6:30pm.

Thursdays

Junior Box Fit— Fitness sessions for under 16 year olds (Boys and Girls). Meet at East Village, 4pm-5pm.

Back to Exercise— Low intensity gentle circuit class, fun and social for those who want to get back to exercise or are new to exercise. Meet at base of ArcelorMittal Orbit, 7pm-8pm.

Fridays

Group Cycle– Work at your own pace as you cycle along with the group in one of our themed classes to uplifting music or focus on achieving your goals in a discipline based class. Good for lower body strength and conditioning.(Fee: £6:00). Meet at London Aquatics Centre, 7am—8am.

Little Hammers— This programme is specifically designed to enhance the fundamental movement skills in young people as well as developing their social interaction skills. Each week the young players will interact with the fully qualified and trained West Ham United Foundation coaches, playing many different fun and interactive games. All bookings must be made via soccerschools.whufc.com. Meet at Timber Lodge Café, 10am—11am.

Group Cycle– Work at your own pace as you cycle along with the group in one of our themed classes to uplifting music or focus on achieving your goals in a discipline based class. Good for lower body strength and conditioning.(Fee: £6:00). Meet at London Aquatics Centre, 10:30am—11:30am.

Buggy Fit— Buggy Exercise is an outdoor fitness class for parents/carers and their buggies. Classes involve power walking, non-compulsory jogging and resistance exercises. People are encouraged to work at their own levels. Please bring a mat to this class. Meet at Timber Lodge Café, 11:00am—12:00pm.

Yoga and Pilates
Designed for all ages and abilities. To book your free space, please contact Darryl at dgheerawo@westhamunited.co.uk.
Meet at the Sir Ludgiwic Guttman Centre, East Village, 5.15pm – 6.30pm

Deep Water Workout— Full body water workout. Get all the benefits of a  workout, plus improved core strength, all while being easy on your joints. Classes take place in the deep end of the pool using buoyancy aids, so it’s essential you can swim to take part in the class. Good for low impact, but high intensity (Fee: £6.00). Meet at London Aquatics Centre, 7:30pm—8:30pm.

Saturdays 

Superhero Fitness— Fitness session for 3 - 10 year olds. Each child will be given an Superhero costume while taken part in the session. Meet at East Village, 9:00am—10:00am.

Youth Parkour— All kids love to run, jump and climb! If you want your child to discover how to move and explore their potential in a safe environment, then bring them along to this Youth class. It caters for young people between the ages of 7-15 years old and is open to all levels of ability. Meet at West Park Walk, East Village, 10am—11am.

Families Parkour— The Family Parkour class is unique in that it is aimed at involving both parents and children within one class environment. The class accepts children of between 1-6 years old along with at least one parent or guardian, and is run by qualified coaches in a managed environment. Meet at West Park Walk, East Village, 11:15am—12:15pm.

Visually Impairment Tennis Camp— A tennis camp specifically designed to cater for people with a visual impairment, using qualified coaches and specially adapted equipment. Sighted guides available.  

Sundays

Beginning Running Group for anyone aged 14 and over. All abilities and levels welcome. To book a free space, email Darryl at dgheerawo@westhamunited.co.uk. Meet at the View Tube at 9am.

RunFIT group
Running group around the Park for anyone aged 16 and over. All abilities and levels welcome. To book a free space, email Darryl at dgheerawo@westhamunited.co.uk. Meet at Victory Park in East Village at 10am.


Dance Aerobics—Dance yourselves fit in a fun, dynamic and high intensity workout of dance aerobics. Meet at the Copper Box Arena, 10am--11am.

Tennis Coaching for People with Learning Difficulties-- Tennis activity specifically designed to cater for people with learning difficulties. Meet at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre, 1pm—2pm.
