Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is set across hundreds of acres with so much to see and explore. To help you make the most of your time on the Park, we have a number of fantastic trails to follow and a range of guided tours available to book.

Children's Adventures in the Park Trail
The exciting Explorer’s Guide to Adventures in the Park is the perfect activity for children to get outside in nature and enjoy the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The guide’s ‘secret missions’ will encourage young ones to explore and interact with London’s newest Park.
Art Trail
Feeling artistic? The Park is also packed with loads of amazing art – you’ll be able to explore them all with our Art in the Park trail. Inspired by local history, landscape and ground-breaking events; there are lots of interesting artworks to discover!
Parkland and Wildlife Trail
And for the nature lovers among you, you can observe, listen and discover bustling animal habitats, waterways, colourful flowers and plants with our Biodiversity and Landscape Exploring Walk – look out for framed panels and plaques in the ground to find out more.
Did you know
If you're in the Park at dusk, you might see bats swooping in and out of 150 bat boxes or hunting along the River Lea under the bridges. Look out for the bat sensor boxes that track activity on the Park. Find out more in our Parklife and Wildlife trail.

Explore Tours
Guided Walking Tours
Join one of our expert Park Champion volunteer guides on a walking tour of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. From its conception, creation, use during the Games of 2012 through to its transformation into the beautiful Park we have today – hear about the history of the area, parklands and wildlife, biodiversity and sustainability, artworks, continuing legacy transformation and the world-class sporting venues.
Public Walks last around 90 minutes.
London Stadium Tours
Whether a lifelong West Ham United fan, fascinated by London 2012 facts and figures or interested in how a concert is staged at the stadium, then this will be the tour for you. Get a behind-the-scenes look at London Stadium and learn all about this 60,000 capacity venue.
Large Group Tours
For larger groups coming to the Park we recommend booking a custom-designed tour led by professional local Blue Badge Tourist Guides.
London’s Blue Badge Guides have been leading tours in and around the Park since 2008 and have witnessed at first-hand the transformation of the whole area. With specialist itineraries created for your specific group’s needs and interests, Guides make these tours interactive and engaging. The tours can be part of a full day exploring East London or we can cover the highlights in an hour. Tours can be on foot, by coach or a combination of both.

Park Boat Tours
You can also take a tour by boat! Relax and unwind on a guided boat tour along the river that runs through the Park. You’ll pass through beautifully landscaped parklands in the shadows of some of the iconic venues from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games - the London Stadium, ArcelorMittal Orbit, the London Aquatics Centre and Lee Valley VeloPark, all while learning fascinating facts about the Park and its future from a professional tour guide. Tours take around three hours and run on selected weekends. Private group and school tours are also available.
